A Heritage Scrap Page with a Country Feel

I created these pages with a bit more of a country feel to them with botanical images fading into the background...very suitable for some of my ancestors who came from a rural background. They are fairly textured pages with some highlighting to give them a "lift" which is hard to demonstrate in these smaller images.

The zip to download on my file sharing page has 3 pages in .jpg format and two frames as .png

You may find that you have to recolour it slightly to suit your own photos.

I am very happy for you to mention this kit on mailing lists but I would love a link back to this page :)

Below are two example pages:

Dawn on Anzac Day Desktop

Tomorrow is ANZAC DAY in Australia and New Zealand. Just before dawn, many will gather from both countries to remember and honour all those who served their countries in various conflicts.

Lest We Forget.

You can read more about our Anzac Day Tradition
here.

Many thanks to Evelyn McCarthy who kindly provided the photograph taken earlier this week of our local War Memorial at Crows Nest and upon which I based this image... although I doubt she will recognise it :)
You can click on the above image to view a larger version and you can also download a zip with even bigger images including one suitable for widescreen

For Anzac Day ecards don't forget to check out our
card site. Don't miss Joan's wonderful Anzac Day Desktop too!

Two Free Floral Scrapbook Pages and Frames

There are two somewhat similar background papers in this simple scrapkit, both 12inches X 12inches at 300dpi. One has a fine self striped texture.

The two scrolly frames are transparent .png images also at 300dpi. I designed them to fit a 4inch X 6 inch photo, but they could easily be scaled down.

As the whole kit is in shades of black to grey, it would be easy to recolour or the backgrounds could also be used as masks.

Here is a simple example layout.

The kit can be downloaded HERE

If you use this kit for an online layout, I'd love a link back here :)

Autumn Scraps

Firstly a big thank you to Maria of Sydney at Digifree for listing my pages. ...a wonderful resource if you are looking for free digital scrap material and other images.
These are a few free pages and accents for Autumn for you. ..all at 300dpi.
If you click on the image above you will get an idea of the old linen look that I was trying to create.

5 12" X 12" pages .jpg
2 Text accents .png
3 leaf accents from my garden :) .png

[The photo from my garden isn't included.]

These backgrounds would be quite suitable for backgrounds for old album pages or more modern images.

You can download a free zip here . File is about 12.5MB.

A Desktop for Autumn

Autumn has arrived a bit early in this corner of Queensland with frosts on the granite belt earlier in the week. It is usually a little warm here for a really spectacular display of Autumn foliage, but my virginia creeper has been a wonderful splash of red on my verandah already.
I have made this new desktops using various textures and images that I created in Paint Shop Pro.You may need to click on the image above to get a really see the textural effect of the background.
I've placed a zip of various sized wallpapers in my
portfolio on ShareCG.
I'd love to hear if you like it!
