Tranquility-A Desktop Wallpaper

I have been busy making masks in the last few days and a spin off was this image which I converted into desktop size- although a bit smaller in this version.
The old engraving I used was of Cotoneaster sp. These have been laden with berries this year. Perhaps we are due for a cold winter?
If you would like a copy for your own desktop, you can download a zip with larger images and instructions, HERE

"In the Pink" Free Scrapbook Extras

Many thanks for all the super comments regarding my "In the Pink Papers!
Here at last some elements which will co-ordinate with the papers.
Again more heritage in style :)
I've loaded a zip and a couple of example pages onto my sharecg account HERE
Again, you would really make me happy if you included a link back here if you use them in an online layout.

"In the Pink" Scrapbook papers

When I was creating my last desktop, I really had in mind to make a new scrapkit using again the Fringe flower.

I hope you like these pretty papers which I thought could be used for contemporary or older style images.

Soon I'll add some co-ordinating frames and other extras.

I've placed a zip in my scraps folder on 4 shared. It is free to download HERE.

I'd love a link back to this page if you use the pages in a layout or tags online :)

"In the Pink" Desktop Wallpaper

The Chinese Fringe Flower or Loropetalum chinensis should be starting to bloom now in warmer areas of the Northern Hemisphere. Its pretty dark red and green foliage livens up a corner of my garden all year round, but it is prettiest in spring when I photographed it last year.
Simply click on the image above to see a full sized version.
I have made 3 sized desktops which you can down load in a zip HERE

The Shipping Pages Scrapkit Extras

I have included as extras for this scrapkit zip:
  • 3 blocks for text [or whatever :) ]

  • 1 brad

  • 1 wee anchor ornament

  • 1 bit of red tape or divider

  • 1 frame [and no it doesn't come complete with Capt Scobie !]

  • 1 stencilled text overlay

I used the font JJ Stencil with some "grungy" texture to create the text overlay. It is available from http://www.haroldsfonts.com.

You can download these extras from my 4shared files HERE

The "Shipping News" - Heritage Scrapbook Papers

These two backgound pages for a Heritage Album were created to display information for my Family History. I have some antecedants who served in the Royal Navy but I also thought they would suit some of my emigration records too.
In the next posting I will add some extras to decorate the pages :)
You can see larger previews of the pages and download a zip with larger resolutin images HERE
If you use them in any online published material, I'd love a link back here :)

A Heritage Scrap Desktop Quickpage

A Very Happy Mother's Day to all those mothers today!

This is a tribute to my own Great Grandmother, Lizzie Mackenzie .

If you would like to use this layout for a desktop wallpaper, or perhaps slide show with your own photo and text, I have created 2 similar .png files.

One is 1536 X 960 pixels [widescreen]

the second 1280 X 960

You can download a zip with them both, here or here.

A Family History Page Scrap Page

One of my other passions is Family History. I have been busy collecting my old photos and other memorabilia together for an album.

Here are 3 background pages I've put together and also a journalling block for text or perhaps to put behind an image. .

The backgounds are made up of merged images of the sort of material any Family Historian would be familiar with :)

You can download my zip file here.

If you would like to use a "quick page" , I have placed two to download on my share page.

The Potato Vine _ A Desktop Wallpaper

Yes it looks like Spring!

But no. This pretty creeper, Solanum jasminoides is found in many Australian gardens, flowering at the end of Summer and early Autumn.

I used a photo taken by my son in Canberra last week to put together this desktop.Thank you Paul!

You may notice that I have used the background paper from my floral scrap page as a mask for the background!

If you click on the image above, it will bring up a larger image to download.

If you have a wider or bigger screen, you can download a zip with other sizes, HERE.

Welcome to the first day of May!

Post Script!

I have just finished creating a mini scrapkit using similar images to those above. It contains:

2 .jpg background papers 12inches by 12 inches at 300 dpi

1 .png journalling block approximatly 8 X 8

1 .png brad [to hold it on :) ]
You can download the zip HERE
