Old Wisteria Heritage Album Papers

Well I have finally completed these matching pages! You will need to click on these images to enlarge to see the textural detail [which unfortunately adds to their file size]....or a snippet HERE

The two pages when placed side by side either way will actually "flow" as their backgrounds are actually large seamless tiles.

In the download zip, I've included a pretty frame and a block for your text ...both in .png format and also a bonus ribbon.

The pages can easily be recoloured to suit your project.:) [Sepia looks good]

You can download your zip HERE

Don't forget, I'd love to have a link to any layouts that you do using my kits!

There are now 5 pages of downloadable material in my Portfolio on Sharecg :)
Post Script: Chris has used my papers to illustrate a family wedding...thanks for the link Chris!

An Autumn / Spring Desktop Wallpaper

I've used a rather strange old Victorian Botanical print - [artist unknown but dated about 1890] for my new desktop wallpaper. With it's mixture of Autumn foliage and Spring flowering Wisteria , it brings together the opposing seasons of north and south.

The rather textured background was developed from a photograph of wisteria taken by fellow TOC member, Joan in her garden. Thank you Joan!

[Click on the image above to see more detail.]

My own garden has certainly realised it is spring...already colourful after the winter and weeds taking off :) You can download a zip with 3 different sized images 1440 X 900, 1280 X 960 and 1024 X 768, HERE
I have also made a matching e-card for our GALLERY.

Blue Plaid Ribbon Scrapbook Extras

A couple of extra bits here to match my previous daisy papers etc :)

The zip contains both the bow as a separate .png and the ribbon and bow combination which is wide enough to go right across your 12 inch album page...both at 300 dpi.

Zip to download is HERE.

I always like to hear if you find my bits and pieces useful and any links to your creations are welcome :)

I've actually used the bow and one of my papers in a card which you can see and download from our gallery now.

Chris has also recoloured and used the ribbon and bow in her lovely new autumn desktop wallpaper.

A September Autumn Daisy Desktop Wallpaper

Australian, Ellis Rowan (1848–1922) is one of my favourite Botanical artists. A substantial collection of her work is now in the Australian National Archives and they have several pages of their website devoted to her

The image I have used on my desktop is of unidentified yellow and white daisies and grasses. I have taken the liberty of recolouring the background to match my background papers and elements.

You can download a zip with three different sized desktops, [1440 X 900, 1280 x 960 and 1024 x 768,] HERE.

More detail:

If you would like a copy of the background , alpha and ribbon all in original scrapbooking resolution ..you can see a preview and download it HERE

A Desktop for Spring

The weather has warmed here at last and surely Spring is just around the corner.
I loved the fresh look of this painting by the Swedish painter Carl Larsson [1853-1919] and it brings back memories of "yabbying" in our property dam, although I can't remember being quite so well dressed :)
You can see more detail HERE.
I have used as a background a paper from my daisies kit, recoloured to suit. The flower elements also come from the kit.
If you would like one of these images for your own desktop, you can download a zip with 3 different sizes HERE.
