Colours of Australia Papers #2

These are very softly coloured but textured papers which I think should be suitable for quite a variety purposes. There are 4 papers all .jpg 12 inches X 12 inches at 300 dpi. ...2 sets of two complimentry pages. All are textured and feature Australian wildflowers, Grevillea and Banksia species blended into the background which has a slightly "fabric" look.[detail below or click on the example above to enlarge]

My terms of use are also included in the zip to download.

A Botanical Rose Desktop Wallpaper

click to enlarge I used a lovely old rose illustration by the wonderful rose artist Alfred Parsons [for book "The Genus Rosa" (1910-1914) by Ellen Willmott] for my inspiration for this desktop wallpaper which is a little reminiscent of old botanical prints. By clicking on the image above, you will bring up a larger image wereby you can also get a better idea of the textured background I have created.
As usual I made several sized versions to suit most screens which you can download by clicking on the image below.

An Autumn / Spring Desktop Wallpaper

I've used a rather strange old Victorian Botanical print - [artist unknown but dated about 1890] for my new desktop wallpaper. With it's mixture of Autumn foliage and Spring flowering Wisteria , it brings together the opposing seasons of north and south.

The rather textured background was developed from a photograph of wisteria taken by fellow TOC member, Joan in her garden. Thank you Joan!

[Click on the image above to see more detail.]

My own garden has certainly realised it is spring...already colourful after the winter and weeds taking off :) You can download a zip with 3 different sized images 1440 X 900, 1280 X 960 and 1024 X 768, HERE
I have also made a matching e-card for our GALLERY.

Botanical 2 Heritage Scrapbook page extras

I have created some extra elements to go with my Botanical 2 Scrapbook pages, --- a .png frame which will suit a 5" X 7" photo , a .jpg ribbon and a .png leaffy overlay. All at 300 dpi.
In my example page on the left, I lowered the opacity of the ribbon to 20%.

Another Botanical Heritage page

One of the joys of having a garden such as mine is the variety of plants that I have from all over the world.

We have here the first stirrings of Spring and my garden is certainly enlivened by the bright yellow flowers on my Caroline jasmine or Gelsemium sempervirens from tropical and subtropical America, which I am training along my front fence.

I have adapted a lovely watercolour by Ellis Rowan to decorate these album pages . Although I had in mind an old Edwardian notebook design, I think the pages would look just as effective with more modern photos. The pages themselves which compliment each other are in .jpg format at 300 dpi. The handy frame with trailing leafy design is a transparent .png image and is desined to fit a 5" X 7" or 7" X 5" photo. Of course it could easily be adjusted to suit something larger or smaller.

This shows more of the detail on the page.

You can download a zip with both pages and frame HERE. Below is an example page. Click on it to enlarge.

Heritage Botanical Scrapbook pages

2 pages for your scrapbook album. They are 12 inches by 12 inches .jpg at 300 dpi but could easily be reduced for a smaller album.
I've also included a "cutout" effect frame as a .png in my zip which you can use in different ways....see my example pages below. The cutout will accomodate a 4 X 6 inch photograph but you can adjust to suit yourself.
Although I have tagged these pages as "heritage" I think they would be quite suitable for other images.
You can click on either image to see more detail.

The zip is available HERE
