I phographed this rose in our local Heritage Rose Garden. Unfortunately it had lost its label, but it seemed to be a prolific bloomer and certainly striking with its lighter coloured ruffled edge.
The bees are from my own imagination :)
DOWNLOAD ZIP includes layouts for A4 and American Letter style and 2 different Calendar styles..Week starting Monday or Sunday.

Free Fish Text Brushes/Overlays and January Calendar to print

These transparent .png files are qite large..here shown at 10% of their size.
You can use them to make brushes or simply as an overlay layer and experiment with your blend modes :) I often use blend modes "overlay" "burn" or "dodge".
In my Calendar below, I have recoloured the text, selected and then overlaid with a pattern from the background of my reef image.

I have made 2 different styles of calendar. ...one with week starting Monday and one with week starting Sunday. The images are 1600 X 2000 at 200 dpi and will fit on A4 or American Letter sized paper. I have successfully printed it out on semi gloss card.

Pretty Summer Pastels Overlay Tiles

These small co-ordinated tiles, [each 500 X 125] have transparent backgrounds making them ideal to use as a fill overlay to either flood fill an area or use as brush or object fill. They were all made using my new multicoloured linear patterned tiles script.
In the images below, I have used the squares as a fill over 2 different backgrounds and then as a fill for my brush to simply great a some background interest for my photo.

Rosellas Desktop Wallpaper and Calendar desktop

One of my favourite birds that frequent our garden would have to be the pale headed Eastern Rosella, Platycercus adscitus. These birds are not as colourful as their cousins the Crimson Rosella and nowhere near as bossy and argumentative as the smaller lorikeets that manage to displace them from the bird feeder!
The image I've used for my desktop wallpapers is one of nineteenth century painter, John Gould's fabulous coloured engravings from "Birds of Australia".
To complement the image I've used papers from my Colours of an Australian forest collection.
There are 2 different desktop styles and 2 different colourways. Both zips have a desktop wallpaper in 4 sizes, one with and one without a calendar for August.

Colours of an Australian Forest-scrapbook papers

There are 6 different papers in this set of forest inspired grungy background papers.
Two are the more conventional Eucalypt forest colouring ..2 have a wintery feel and 2 reflect the forest at night.
The papers are 3600 X 3600 and are fairly heavily textured as you can see from the detail below. I think they would work well for contemporary images and also any heritage photos.
