"Mary Guthrie" Rose Papers for Scrapping

Make sure you click image to enlarge!
"Mary Guthrie" is one of those roses in my garden that never seems to fail to give me joy!
A rose that is easy to grow and seems to be standing our extremes of dry and wet :)
These 6 papers are all 3600 X 3600 at 300 dpi and although they can be used as a background "as is", they are also seamless tiles :) This will allow you to use on even larger projects or fill a smaller area with the tile reduced by a percentage. Zip includes flower tube.
The papers are suitable for contemporary or Vintage designs , although I would tend to reduce the saturation for heritage scrapbooking :)
As usual I value your comments and don't forget to visit the other TOC team members for more Roses!

Festive Stripey Papers

Festive Striped Papers from Judy Click to enlarge
It is hard to illustrate these papers here in a reduced form, but they really have a lovely sheen. They print out particularly well on gloss paper and make rather nice backgrounds for Christmas and other gift cards.
The bow of course is from my Ribbons and Bows collection.

Papers are 3600 X 3600 at 300dpi
I have used one of the papers to make this card from our Vintage Card Gallery.

Personal use only . A link to this page if used in a web design , tag or desktop is not necessary but would be nice :)

Christmas Papers 09

Click on image above to enlarge.
Here is the first of my offerings for TOC Colour Co-ordinated Christmas Gifts. I had in mind to create some somewhat muted papers with my palette of colours but well...hmmmm
Colours are those which will co-ordinate with those of other group members' Christmas goodies.
You can read more details about our Christmas Gift Ideas HERE
All these papers are 3600 X 3600 at 300 dpi They are quite "rich" looking and I think would be ideal for creating old time cards, papers etc. They are not all particularly "Christmassy" so would also be useful for heritage style album pages.
An example of one of my papers:

Summer Pastels-Grungy Painted Papers

Click to enlarge Spring seems to have disappeared very quickly in this part of the world and we seem to be heading into an early Summer.
I am hoping that you might find these free grungy papers which have a "just painted" look, fun and useful for lots of projects ...and not necessarily just for Summer!
The papers are all 3600 X 3600 at 300 dpi
They can of course be recoloured to suit your own images :)

Colours of an Australian Forest-scrapbook papers

There are 6 different papers in this set of forest inspired grungy background papers.
Two are the more conventional Eucalypt forest colouring ..2 have a wintery feel and 2 reflect the forest at night.
The papers are 3600 X 3600 and are fairly heavily textured as you can see from the detail below. I think they would work well for contemporary images and also any heritage photos.

Colours of Australia Papers #2

These are very softly coloured but textured papers which I think should be suitable for quite a variety purposes. There are 4 papers all .jpg 12 inches X 12 inches at 300 dpi. ...2 sets of two complimentry pages. All are textured and feature Australian wildflowers, Grevillea and Banksia species blended into the background which has a slightly "fabric" look.[detail below or click on the example above to enlarge]

My terms of use are also included in the zip to download.

Colours of Australia --textured Papers

Click to enlarge I actually had some holiday photos in mind when I created these richly textured papers and had not considered them at all useful for my old family photos, so I was quite pleased how they turned out as heritage pages too :)
Papers are 3600 X 3600 at 300dpi.
It is worth clicking on the example pages below to get a better idea of the detail of the texture.
If you enjoy hybrid scrapping as I do, I suggest printing these papers on low sheen cardstock if you want to add layers of embellishments and photos.
Zip with papers contains Terms of use.

Lest We Forget - A Heritage Scrapkit

A little bit of my heart went into these pages which I dedicate to those members of my family who served in our forces and to those others, too, who lost their loved ones.

There are two background pages which coordinate...one a little plainer than the other.

Various other bits and pieces which I thought you might find useful, including some Australian army buttons, an old scrappy lined text block paper, 2 text overlays and a "cardboard" backing suitable for a photo.
Also 2 bookmarks which you could include in a page design or print separately.
I have made these so you can include text or an image to embellish. They are also easy to cut out :) and would look good with an added ribbon or tassle. They are both the same size so you can use the images back to back if you wish. I would use card of about 200gsm and finish your edges with an archival quality gold pen.

Batik Browns Scrapbook Pages

Click to Enlarge These 3600 X 3600 papers, I thought, could be used for heritage or contemporary pages in an album.
They will also match quite well with the pages and elements of my Vintage Batik Kit.. as you can see below.

The papers can be downloaded HERE or HERE

Vintage Batik Scrapbook Pages

click to enlarge These background pages grew out of another project as so often happens :)

I love the multilayered look of many batik designs, where one pattern overlays another in the process of dyeing the material and it was this look that I was trying to create for a series of papers. These two papers seemed to be the "odd one outs" and took on a life of their own.

Lots of trial and error later, I had put together the other elements.

If you have seen me use these colours before, it is because I find that they suit many of my old photos, both sepia and black and white. Of course you may find they look better recoloured for your project.

The two pages will also form a conntinuous image when placed side by side, a look I rather like in my album.

October Roses Heritage Album Pages

It is worth clicking on the image above to see more detail in this scrapkit.
Although I really designed these papers and elements to compliment my old 1920's photos,
most would suit photos of any era :)

To make for easier downloads I have separated the kit into two zips.

A September Autumn Daisy Desktop Wallpaper

Australian, Ellis Rowan (1848–1922) is one of my favourite Botanical artists. A substantial collection of her work is now in the Australian National Archives and they have several pages of their website devoted to her

The image I have used on my desktop is of unidentified yellow and white daisies and grasses. I have taken the liberty of recolouring the background to match my background papers and elements.

You can download a zip with three different sized desktops, [1440 X 900, 1280 x 960 and 1024 x 768,] HERE.

Heritage Botanical Scrapbook pages

2 pages for your scrapbook album. They are 12 inches by 12 inches .jpg at 300 dpi but could easily be reduced for a smaller album.
I've also included a "cutout" effect frame as a .png in my zip which you can use in different ways....see my example pages below. The cutout will accomodate a 4 X 6 inch photograph but you can adjust to suit yourself.
Although I have tagged these pages as "heritage" I think they would be quite suitable for other images.
You can click on either image to see more detail.

The zip is available HERE
