A Vintage Desktop Wallpaper for Spring

Click to enlarge This desktop wallpaper is for my many friends in the northern hemisphere who are feeling the faint stirrings of Spring :)

It features a painting by English painter John William Waterhouse (1849-1917) and a wee rose from my garden, actually an apricot miniature which I have recoloured to suit.

The zip of files to download includes 4 different sizes which I hope will suit most screens.

1024 X 768
1280 X 1024
1280 X 960
1440 X 900

I have also made a more stylised version without text which you can download HERE

Mother's Day in the UK

A very Happy Mother's Day to all mothers on Mothering Sunday, but especially in the UK where it is your Mother's Day.
Cards in our gallery and card site are not all Mother's Day specific but many would suit a mother any day of the year!

An Irish Heritage Kit

Irish Heritage Scrapkit_click to enlarge

Like many Australians, I am of rather mixed lineage..German, English, Scots and I have 4 Irish Great great grandparents and a wee bit more Irish blood further back :)

I hope that if you have some Irish Heritage that you can make use of my kit which has:

3 full sized album pages,

2 text tile overlays ..one- An Irish Heritage, the other simply - Ireland

There are three different fancy and plain textured brackets which you can use to build your Family Tree.

3 frames of various sizes.

The embossed elements can be used over any papers..I suggest that you place them on a separate layer and use blend mode "luminance legacy" to get best results.

In the example below, I have reduced the opacity of the tiled overlay to 20%.

You can enlarge both images by clicking on them.

An Example-click to enlarge As always, feel free to change the colours to suit your project.

This kit is free. If you would like to make a small donation , I have a Paypal button to the left of the screen.

An Irish Desktop Wallpaper Callendar for March

Click to Enlarge St Patrick's Day this month!
A little taste of Ireland for you in this desktop wallpaper.
Featured artist is neo-classicist Englisman John William Waterhouse 1849-1917 whose portrait of a young windswept girl with her fair complexion brought to mind the anguish of the Irish leaving their homeland.
Background is one of the papers from my last year's Irish Collection.
